Bangalore Dreams is Indian Contemporary Music presented by Jyotsna Srikanth. The violin is in the forefront with the backing of drums/Indian ethnic percussion & keyboards/piano along with exciting improvisations of the Indian ragas in a contemporary way. There is a balanced blend in the technical elements of Indian music layered by western harmonies.
Bangalore Dreams can be performed as a trio or a quartet (with Jazz or folk musicians) and can be presented in worldmusic and jazz venues.
A variant of Bangalore Dreams, Shakthi was presented with electronic music and massive creative improvisations, performed at Kings Place, London.
